The PT Cruiser's are extremely practical and look cool too. The engine is a 4 cylinder, so it's great on gas while still being powerful enough to get you up to highway speeds easily. This one is a 5-Speed so the fuel economy is even better. They are super easy to get in and out of and can hold a lot of stuff. We have taken our family of 4 on a cross country trip in one and it was quite comfortable with the factory captain chairs, A/C, power windows, power locks, nice sound system and other amenities. We have also discovered that there is no age barrier to this car as it appeals to 16 and 70 year old drivers alike. We have even sold a few to drivers that have made theirs PT's look like retro 1950's hot rods and old time delivery vans.
