2008 Ford F-350 Review (continued)
Add your own review or comments

Summary

The Ford Super Duty is the largest mass-market pickup truck you can get, offered in the widest array of configurations and powertrains, and equally able to meet recreational or commercial needs. Ordered with an honest, thoughtful appraisal of your needs and expectations in mind, it would be difficult to do better.

G.R. Whale filed this report to NewCarTestDrive.com after driving several Ford Super Duty models in icy conditions in the Texas Hill Country outside San Antonio.

I advise you to read this if you are considering the diesel. Love the feel, the drive, the interior and and comfort. I am getting 8mpg highway - no load! Ford are aware and will do nothing about it. As far as they say, they never claimed better mileage, just better emissions.

The interior is by far the nicest I have ever seen in a truck. The new diesel is exceptionally quiet, with no smoke and no odor. It's a great looking truck that rides and drives extremely well. The King Ranch and Navigation system options were well worth the price.

I have to say the fit and finish is perfect. The interior materials lost that "plastic" feel. This cab feels luxurious. It has a sleek interior, smooth ride, and a powertrain that refuses to quit! Ford has succeeded with a very stylish and impressive truck!

The soft leather seats, the quiet operation, the power slide rear window and sunroof, the navigation and beautiful sounding stereo are all on the top of my list. But by far the look inside and out is my favorite thing about it.

I am Very happy with the looks and performance of my truck. However I am concerned with the emissions "rejuvination" its a smokey/smelly 45 minute inconvenience which happens once a week. I have been told by the dealership "DO NOT turn off the truck once it begins this process."
