The 2WD SLE and SLT trims have a choice of two 320-hp 5.3-liter V8 engines which are both E85 fuel compatible. One has an iron block and the other has an aluminum block. The 4WD SLE and SLT trims offer the iron block version only. Each engine is coupled to an efficient six-speed automatic transmission. A 403-hp 6.2-liter V8 is exclusive to the Denali trim.
