Summary
Built on the same mechanical platform as Nissan's full-size Titan, the mid-size Frontier boasts the most powerful V6 engine in its class, useful innovations such as the Utili-Track cargo securing system and spray-in bedliner, a comfortable cab and attractive styling. We think it's one of the best trucks in this class, sharing that mantle with the Toyota Tacoma.NewCarTestDrive.com correspondent Larry Edsall filed this report from Austin, Texas.

| | The 4WD is awesome. I like the ability to turn off 4WD, and that is what my Nissan gives me. For a truck, road handling is excellent. Comfort is good. This truck rides high, which improves visibility. The heater is excellent. Adjustable console, light the cruise controls, better seats & fuel economy can be improved though! | | posted by Titus Finn on Jun 28 2007 | | |

| | A very well-built and nice looking truck, fun to drive, plenty of power. Very powerful and the Rockford Fosgate stereo is great! Love the Stereo! The leather feels great too! Better turning radius & gas milage would be nice improvements. | | posted by Blaine Phoenix on Aug 19 2007 | | |

| | My Frontier offers me all that I want in a truck. This truck has more power and is very quiet on the highway. I bought a Nissan for the reliability and so far not a single issue to report. I enjoy everything about this truck. | | posted by Tyrone on Sep 29 2008 | | |
