Summary
The Nissan Murano is a tall and roomy wagon that drives like a sport sedan. Performance is tops, returning as much fun to the driver as a BMW X5 and likely the coming non-turbo Porsche Cayenne. Its pricing and luxurious ambience make us wonder if the Murano should have been an Infiniti model. It feels more like a second-channel luxury car, and a fully loaded Murano approaches the price of an entry level Lexus RX 300. Murano's price compares well with the Toyota Highlander's, however, especially when compared feature by feature. The best part about the Murano is its capability on the road: It handles with precision, speed, and more grace than most other SUVs.

| 2003 Nissan Murano consumer reviews: | | | | overall rating | | | value | | | comfort | | | reliability | |
| | It is a typical Nissan - powerful, stylish, and reliable. The CVT is so smooth that it makes it feel like a luxury car. The heated leather seats are much worth the money, as is the generously sized sunroof. The Xenon headlights are phenomenal. | | posted by Mickey on Dec 06 2007 | | |

| | I bought the Murano because of the amount of interior room & comfort that is in the SUV. Overall, the performance & features of the vehicle are execellent. | | posted by Jackson on Dec 06 2007 | | |

| | This SUV is an absolute joy to drive, sturdy and a feel of total driving control. Very safe and comfortable too! I can't imagine driving anything else. I felt completely at ease the first time I test drove it - 7 months later I'm still in love with it! | | posted by Branden on Dec 06 2007 | | |

| | Fantastic stereo system. Vehicle gets constant looks and many smiles. Very good MPG for an SUV. And I love the smoothness of the CVT transmission. Still don't see many of them so it's exclusive. Big 18" wheels are great! | | posted by Dominik on Dec 06 2007 | | |
