Blackened exterior bits on a car turn an otherwise benign vehicle into something sinister. That's a popular way for automakers to inject a bit of attitude into some of their cars and SUVs, and the low-cost visual tricks go a long way with customers. Now, Hyundai is getting into the game with the newly redesigned Tucson, which already looks pretty
Here are the details on the new version of the popular crossover:
- Based on the top trim Tucson Sport, the Night Edition gets a blackened grille, 9-inch, 10-spoke matte-black Rays wheels, a black tinted panoramic sunroof, and very nice gloss black side mirrors.
- The interior also gets dressed up with aluminum pedals,
perforated-leathersporty steering wheel, LED map lights, red Rays center caps, and even red valve-stem caps.
- The paint colors for the Night Edition are Caribbean Blue, Dazzling White, Coliseum Gray, and Black Noir Pearl.
- The model is limited to 4,000 cars and goes on sale later this fall. Expect a couple of thousand dollars to get tacked on to the $25,900 price of the Sport.
