Okay, let's get this straight. The base Porsche 911 Carrera will do 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The 911 GTS will do it in 3.9 seconds. The 911 GT3 will do it in 3.2 seconds. The Turbo S will hit 60 mph from a standstill in a blistering 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 208 mph at a cost of $190,700. That's faster than a Ferrari 488GTB and about $80K less.
Well, now Porsche doesn't think that's good enough, so they just unveiled the details of the new 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe, a limited-edition car that boasts more power and, of course, exclusivity.
But it's about more than just power. The Exclusive Series 911 Turbo S gets some sweet tidbits such as 20-inch center-lock wheels painted in black, with highlights finished in Golden Yellow Metallic using a new laser technology. Porsche also does a first with ceramic composite brakes with black calipers and a yellow metallic Porsche logo.
The inside also gets special treatment, including gauges dressed in black, a tachometer with the Golden Yellow twin-stripe design including the ‘Exclusive Series’ logo, and a Limited-edition plaque because the rest of the car's just not special enough for people to notice you spent a crap ton of money on a land-based rocket.
