It's always sad to see an exotic treated this way, but at least this one hasn't burned to the ground…yet.

ubai has one of the strangest car cultures in the world, and in another example of that, a Ferrari Enzo that was abandoned last year will be auctioned off.

The car was found last August, and the owner is believed to be a British national who ditched Dubai 20 months ago because he couldn't afford the repayments on the leased car. It's also believed that he owed for traffic fines, and debtors are often jailed in Dubai.

Ferrari Enzo This Ferrari Enzo was ditched in Dubai.

Because of that, it's apparently not uncommon to see abandoned cars, although rarely something as exotic as this Ferrari.

Enzos usually sell for a cool million or so, and we expect the same will happen with this car, although the relatively poor condition it's in will likely bring down the price.

We wonder how much debt the owner was in--just how much did those payments and fines cost, anyway? We suspect it must have been a lot for this person to ditch their car and leave the country.
