oland hasn't exactly been a hotbed for exotic autos, but Polish company Arrinera Automotive has come up with a 211-mph mid-engine bad boy that will undercut traditional exotics in price.
The unnamed model will cost around $158,000 and sprint from 0-60 in about three seconds, thanks to a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 that puts out 650 horsepower.
The car also offers scissor doors, a tubular steel frame, carbon and Kevlar panels, and ceramic brake rotors. It looks like a Lamborghini and has the requisite supercar necessities.
It's hard for any small exotic car builder to gain legitimacy, no matter what country they're from, but if this road-rocket works as well in the real world as it does on paper, Arrinera might become a more well-known name, perhaps even well-known enough that people will realize that the Italian-sounding name is for a Polish company.
