2006 Chevrolet Aveo
Find Used in Your Area

Overview

Zippy performance and sharp steering make the Chevrolet Aveo fun to drive, while a decent ride and reasonably quiet cabin make for pleasant everyday transportation.

The Aveo comes in three trim levels, each of which is available in the four-door sedan and five-door hatchback body styles. All are powered by a 103-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. A five-speed manual gearbox comes standard; an automatic is an option for LS and LT models. Safety features include optional anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution available for LS and LT. All models come with side-impact airbags and advanced dual-stage airbags that use Chevy's Passenger Sensing System.

For 2006, the Chevrolet Aveo gets a host of upgrades and refinements, including side-impact air bags as standard equipment and a retuned suspension.

It's just what I paid for: a small, cute, affordable, economic, basic little car. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for the same.

I was going after a Rio when I decided to maybe give the Chevrolet Cobalt a chance. I'm 6'5" and 260 so the Cobalt was a no go. Too low to the ground too. I was amazed when I saw the Aveo LT for the first time. It was almost black, a metallic dark gray charcoal. Sets high, roomy. Runs like a dream and very quiet. Now 2 years later I still love it. Would recommend an Aveo to anyone.

Car itself is nice (otherwise I would buy it), BUT since I bought it I have troubles with it. I own it for 20 days and it was 5 times on service - major things are changed and fixed! It has been driven only 100 miles since I bought it! Something sucks - car or my luck with it!

Dont compare this car with any sports car. It's an economy car with awesome seating, nice dash, color and configuration. This is a great little car. There is pleny of room.

I enjoy the view from the car and the looks of the car itself. Good running, spacious interior, sleek looking exterior, great on gas mileage. I have no complaints about the car.
