Chevrolet's rear-wheel drive Express 2500 passenger and cargo vans provide a rugged and durable means of transporting several passengers or a large payload of cargo.

There are three available engines for the Express 2500 lineup. A 4.8-liter V8, a Vortec 6.0-liter V8, and a Duramax Diesel 6.6-liter V8. All of the engines are teamed with a four-speed automatic transmission. The Express 2500 passenger van comes with a 135-inch wheelbase. The passenger vans have an LS and an LT trim, they come standard with electronic traction and stability control, can accommodate up to 8 passengers, and offer several, convenient options. The Express 2500 cargo van is available with a 135-inch or a 155-inch wheelbase. The cargo vans have a Work Van and an Upfitter trim which are an excellent base for a multi-purpose utility vehicle that can be equipped to suit your comfort needs, or modified for your workplace requirements.

For 2009, the Chevrolet Express 2500 passenger van is a carryover. The Upfitter trim on the 2500 cargo vans have standard electronic traction and stability control.
