Overview

The Silverado 2500HD Classic continues its reputation among owners as the 'strongest, most dependable and longest lasting truck on the road.'

The 2500HD Classic comes standard with a Vortec 6.0L V8 engine that creates 300hp. It can also be equipped with a Duramax Diesel 6.6L V8 Turbo with Allison six-speed automatic transmission. This boosts horsepower to 360 from the 6.0L V8 engine. The 2500HD Classic is available in WT, LS, 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trims. Two- or four-wheel drive is an option.

Chevrolet Silverado Classics are a continuation of the previous model Silverado.

I have had my 2500HD since November of 2006, it has almost 100,000 miles. I ahve sevral vehicles and this is by far the best I have had fo rthe money. If you rlooking for a truvk look no futher buy one!

Actually just got this new 2007 2500HD LT 6.0 gas that was left over as the 2009's are about to debut. It is simply a fantastic truck that makes the 1500 series feel like a Cavalier with a bed. Only regret is that the powerful 6.0 gets only around 12 mpg. Hope that improves as the engine loosens up. You are definitely in-charge, when driving this baby.

Speakers could be better, and I would also like to see better fuel economy and a little better build quality. That's about it.

This has got to be the best truck ever built. The ride, the off-road ability, and everything else about this truck is truely amazing. The truck looks awesome. It is reliable and runs great. Recommended!

I've had this truck for 3 month now, and have not had any problem with it whatsoever. This is one of the best truck in the market today. I highly suggest test driving one today! GM has done a fantastic job on this truck. It dosn't need further improvement!

By far the best truck for the money and I am completely happy with it. The new design was really comfortable and the engine was powerful. The gas mileage is very good for a truck and the ride is very solid.
