About

Honda is the fourth largest manufacturer of automobiles in the United States. Headquartered in Japan, Honda is largely known for its mostly small to mid-size, highly fuel-efficient vehicles. In 1972 Honda introduced a line of subcompact cars called Honda Civic, followed by a newer series of of compact, mid-size and full-size cars, the Accord, which was the first Japanese automobile to be manufactured also becoming the best-selling import brand vehicle in the United States. Honda was also the first Japanese automobile manufacturer to throw its hat in the luxury automobile ring debuting its Acura in 1986.
