n episodes past, Oprah Winfrey made a name for herself when she gave away an audience's worth of a prize. The refrain, "And you get a car, and you get a car, and YOU get a car! Everyone's geting a car!" has seemingly been replaced with, "Only you get a car—maaaaybe."

Oprah giving away, of all things, a keg party, sounds a bit low-rent to us.

Winfrey used to host shows during which she would give away millions of dollars worth of prizes, but after her jump to her own network and the end of the Oprah Winfrey Show, it seems she may have made a misstep. Her latest giveaway features two things—one person will win a car, and one person will win a prize-of-the-month, which, for one of the months, is a keg party.

Oprah will give away one Smart fortwo car, but only after participants fill out a questionaire about O magazine. After answering the questions, readers submit the form, and if their answers are correct they are entered into a sweepstakes with a series of monthly prizes—the grand prize is the car.

While it doesn't sound all that bad on the surface, Oprah giving away just one car (and a mini-car, at that) and, of all things, a keg party, sounds a bit low-rent to us. Perhaps this is a sign of how well (or rather, how poorly) her new network is doing.
