O

f all the condiments out there, hot sauce is seemingly the most popular one these days, and for good reason. There are plenty of different kinds out there, meant to compliment a variety of cuisines. But we've all got our favorite, so let's take a look at five popular and/or unique sellers. Did your favorite make the cut?

While some of these sauces are great in mass quantities, others should be poured with care.

#5 Gringo Bandito
One of the more unique sauces on the market, if only because of its creator: Dexter Holland of the once-popular band The Offspring. It's marketed as being great for "tacos, burritos, pizza, wings, and more" and is described as having a medium heat.

#4 Dave's Ghost Pepper Naga Jolokia Hot Sauce
Its first ingredient is ghost pepper, so you know it's going to be hot. Sold with the tagline, "So Hot It's Spooky," it's described as being slightly hotter than "the new hottest sauce in the universe." Basically, pour at your own risk.

#3 Frank's Red Hot
It's thicker than some other hot sauces, making it a perfect choice for dousing wings with. In fact, this brand's claim to fame is that it was the hot sauce used in the original Buffalo Wings in Buffalo, New

#2 Tabasco
It sounds simple, but this one's a top seller for one reason: it's simple, it's hot, and it tastes good. There are several iterations of this brand by now, but the standard red Tabasco adds a nice kick to anything you want to spice up. Last year, it sold over 1.6 million bottles.

#1 Sriracha
By far the most popular these days is the bright red sauce in the bottle with the green cap. It's not even sold in small bottles...the smallest size you can purchase is 17 ounces, but for the true aficionado, there's a 28-ounce bottle as well. With entire cookbooks dedicated to its addicting heat, this one's sure to please. Put it on everything.
