Hotel chain offers free stay for customers named Don Draper.

fter the big-time showcase of hotel chain Howard Johnson in last weekend's episode of Mad Men, the company has decided to give back—customers named Don Draper are being offered a free night's stay at select Howard Johnson locations.
In the episode, Don Draper and his wife, Megan, go to a HoJo in upstate New York, and during their stay, we find out the pool has been closed. Though it's hardly the biggest crisis of the episode, HoJo understands the Drapers' disappointment.
"We've all been there. You plan a weekend away only to check-in to your hotel and find that a much-desired amenity—the hotel pool—is closed. It's enough to make a man mad," the chain wrote in a release.
"So, to the Don Drapers of the world...we're sorry and your next stay is on us."
Before May 8, any traveller named Don Draper can book a free, one-night stay at certain locations. The night must be redeemed before August 31st.
"This is our way of showing Mr. Draper that we value him as a guest and hope to welcome him back soon," the release continued.
Though this obviously makes up for the pool closing, who knows what they'll offer to make up for that orange sherbet that Megan seemed to hate so much.
