Mom Helps Daughter Sext 30-Year Old Boyfriend

f there's one thing in the world we would never ask our moms for help with, it'd be taking naked pictures of us so we could send them to our significant other. Ugh, even typing that turned our stomachs. But for a 35-year-old woman in Utah, this situation didn't seem at all abnormal, as she helped her 13-year-old daughter take nude photos so her daughter could send them to her boyfriend. Her 30-year-old boyfriend. Oh, no.

The woman, who is not being named in order to protect the family's identity, has been charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, which is a second degree felony (not to mention super gross). Um, why hasn't this 30-year-old also been arrested? So many gross questions.

We're not sure which part of this is the worst: the 30-year old boyfriend, the 13-year old daughter, or the photographer-mom.

The mother said she knew that her daughter's intentions were to send the photos to the man, but apparently saw no problem with it. The 13-year-old said that her boyfriend had requested the photos and had given her the cell phone to take them with, and when she couldn't figure out how to use the cell phone, she asked her mom to help.

The 30-year-old man is located in Oregon, and after Utah authorities contacted authorities in Oregon, an investigation was started.

Each of the three felony counts is punishable with a maximum of a $15,000 fine and eight years in jail—a maximum total of $45,000 in fines and 24 years in prison.

We're not sure which part of this is worse—that a 30-year-old is dating a 13-year-old and requested naked pictures from a minor, that the girl was going to do it but couldn't figure it out, or that her mother agreed to help. Ick, all around.
