oing laundry is pretty boring. We think everyone can agree on that. But a good way to spice it up would be, say, bringing a deck of cards, a book, or a flask (if that's your thing) to the laundromat. A bad way to spice it up would be to put your kid in the washing machine. Unfortunately, while most people would think that's common sense, one couple must have missed the memo.

Who would look at a washing machine and think, "Hey! I'll put my kid in there!"?

At a laundromat this weekend, one father put his toddler into the machine, not expecting the door to lock when it shut. But that's exactly what happened, and as the automatic cycle on the washer started, the toddler went tumbling around. Sounds fun, right? Not really.

The panicked parents tried desperately to pull the door open, to no avail. They finally got a worker to unplug the washer and get the kid out of the machine. The toddler was trapped for more than a minute (which doesn't sound like much, but we imagine it had to hurt being tossed around like that), and escaped with only minor bruising.

We have to ask, though: who on Earth would look at a washing machine and think, "Hey! I'll put my kid in there!"?

It's yet another reason that potential parents should probably have to take some kind of test before procreating.
