f course you’ve heard by now that Arrested Development is coming back, to be shown on Netflix in 2013. This is, of course, great news for fans of the brilliant comedy about the most hilariously dysfunctional family ever, who have been hoping for a revival ever since Fox canceled the series in 2006.

All of the principal cast members have enthusiastically agreed to return to the show (and the subsequent film), but one troubling omission has been the character of Steve Holt, the three-time high school senior who famously starred as Beatrice in the school’s production of Much Ado About Nothing, and was later revealed to be the illegitimate son of Gob.

According to Justin Grant Wade, who played Steve Holt, the producers of the new Arrested Development have not contacted him about returning to the show, leaving the character’s future in limbo.

But thanks to an online campaign started by fans, there may yet be a chance for Steve Holt to make his triumphant return.
