egardless if you can't live with or without him, U2 frontman Bono is set to become the world's richest musician, thanks to Facebook's IPO. He will outshine Paul McCartney, all because he bought 2.3 percent of the company's shares in 2009. He bought them for $90 million, but with the company being worth over $100 billion nowadays, Bono suddenly finds his net worth rising, also.

Maybe now he can buy a first (or would it be a last?) name.

Bono will now be worth more than $1.5 billion, while McCartney is worth a paltry one billion. Sigh, back to the 99% for McCartney, right?

We wonder what a man like Bono will do with that kind of money. Perhaps he'll take it as a comfort that he can live off this, and can quit his job singing. Or maybe he'll buy a stash of even weirder sunglasses than he already owns. Or hey, maybe he'll buy a first (or would it be last?) name.

Either way, Bono's sitting pretty right about now.
