Geriatric Horror Villains

f Freddy Kreuger caused plenty of sleepless nights for you, you'll be happy to hear he isn't doing too much crazy stuff these days. No, in fact, most of his nights are spent chain-smoking cigarettes and drinking Chianti. Pretty tame, compared to what he used to enjoy doing. Thanks to Italian photographer Federico Chiesa, villains from iconic horror films are reimagined as aging and geriatric, "lonely in the twilight of their lives."

With the assistance of makeup artist/special effects artist/stylist, Carolina Trotta, Chiesa recreates landmark scenes from films like A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining, Friday the 13th, and more.
