tep aside, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, because one man in Australia is showing you up! Jacob French completed a 3,100 mile walk across Australia, from Perth to Sydney, and he did it while dressed as a storm trooper.
The Starlight Children's Foundation provides programs to help lift the spirits of sick children in hospitals.
French started the walk in July 2011, and since then has walked 10 hours a day, five days a week, and has gone through seven pairs of shoes. He's also lost over 26 pounds since starting.
Throughout the process, French has also raised over $100,000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation. The Starlight Children's Foundation provides programs to help lift the spirits of sick children in hospitals, which seems to align well with walking across a continent wearing a Star Wars costume, don't you think?
