SOME GOOD RULES TO FOLLOW:

Deal local with people you can meet in person. Almost all of the scams involve a seller that is not available for an in-person meeting.
•
Do not wire funds via Western Union, Moneygram, or other wire services.
•
Fake cashier checks & money orders are common. Banks can cash them, but will then hold you responsible if they are fake.
•
Web2Carz.com is not involved in any transaction nor does it handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification".
•
Do not give out financial information such as bank account numbers, social security numbers, eBay/PayPal info, etc.
•
Avoid deals involving shipping or escrow services.
