Smart is a subsidiary of Daimler, and it produces the ForTwo two-seat microcar. The ForTwo gets a lot of attention for its diminutive size, but it's been criticized for its rough-shifting transmission, it's cramped quarters, it's relatively high price, and fuel economy that may not justify the sacrifices. An electric version of the ForTwo is available for those with a serious green bent.
