e've always thought of apps and music files as not taking up all that much space, but when you've had your phone for a couple years, those add up to take up a lot of the phone's memory—sometimes so much that you have no more room left. And when the alternative is deleting apps, files, and photos, the iExpander looks pretty good—and that's why it's our Kickstarter of the Week.
The iPhone iExpander is compatible with the 4, 4S, and thankfully, the 5. It's a case with built in features that not only add more storage memory to the phone, but also enhance photo quality thanks to added LEDs in the flash, and boost battery life intensely.
For the picture quality, the developers added more LED lights and programmed the flash to have a longer length. The result is much clearer photography, even in low light.
The iExpander not only expands memory, but enhances photo quality and extends battery life.
As for extending battery life, they added the same lithium-polymer battery to their case, so with the iExpander, you have double the battery life—perfect for those extra-long days that you naturally forget to bring your charger along for.
Expandable memory comes in the form of a 64GB SD card, and you just transfer files back and forth from the card, and the card is nestled in the case.
The iExpander comes in black and white, and with 18 days left to meet it's goal, it's a little over halfway there— the developers are looking for $125,000 and so far have raised $68,371, so join up!
