f you've grown tired of the over-edited filtering that Instagram has lent to amateur photogs everywhere, check out the new app Normalize, which has the ability to un-filter those pictures. Though it wasn't designed for de-Instagramming but rather for correcting images that aren't of the best quality or have been somehow distorted, Normalize has caught on and become popular among those who like to consume their images unedited.

It's a 99 cent app, and its description proudly states, "Whether filtered by another app or shot and turned out yellow or too dark, Normalize turns a photo back into what it's supposed to look like."

Though some people might applaud the effort, since Instagram has turned a fleet of previously-unskilled people into "talented phographers" or "great artists," others might just file it away as yet another app that "does all the work for you."

Developer Joe Macirowski created the app, and its function can be explained like this: "The smart algorithm that powers Normalize automatically improves your photo without you ever having to make tedious manual corrections."

Butwouldn't "real" photographers prefer doing those tedious manual corrections, in the interest of getting to the best end product they could? We think so.
