ow many days are left until Halloween? If you can't answer that question off the top of your head, you should download Halloween!, the app that tells you all you need to know about this year's spookiest holiday. It's not the only Halloween-themed app out there, though, so we sifted through all of them to bring you our top five black-and-orange apps.
1) Halloween! - Free
This is a pretty basic app that gives you a countdown of the days left until All Hallows' Eve, as well as photo backgrounds for your phone of ghosts and ghouls. It also includes Halloween ringtones and loops of scary sounds you can play at a party or just to freak out your friends and pets.

This app is a digital pumpkin-carving game. Make silly faces or creepy visages, then save all of your creations to an album or share the photos with your friends. It's a great way to get in the Halloween mood without having to cover your kitchen table with newspaper and scoop out pumpkin guts.
3) Scary Camera - Free
This app adds photo filters to your pictures that render the images into horror-movie-esque pics. Add in blood drips, flip the colors to their negative, or put bleeding handprints on your pictures. It's a little cheesy, but it's entertaining and festive.
4) Zombie Fingers! 3D Halloween Playground - Free
This game will appeal to all the Walking Dead fans out there. Similar to the Tamagotchis of the old days, this lets you grow and take care of a horde of zombies. You control their actions around a cemetery, and for the squeamish (or your kids), blood can be "turned off" so that the game is a bit more PG.
5) Halloween Voice Transformers - Free, with Additional Features for $0.99 each
We've hyped up apps that transform your voice before—Smack Talk made us laugh for days. This one is similar, but now you can change your voice into Halloween-themed voices: the Grim Reaper is free, but for 99 cents each, you can purchase the option to change your voice into a witch's voice, or an alien's, monster's, robot's, or ghost's.
