ith just a week until the big election, you're probably exhausted with seeing your friends duke it out over womens' rights, foreign policy, and (ugh) taxes on Facebook and other social networks. Now, there's something you can do about it! If you use Google Chrome, install the extension Unpolitic.me, and enjoy watching those political debates turn into cats and kittens.

Your friends most likely have only read a paragraph or two on CNN (or, heaven forbid, Fox News) and thus may not be making any sense, so the extension is a welcome break from people running their mouths.

The extension comes from the same developers behind Unbaby.me, a similar extension that blocks your Facebook friends' photos of their babies (and also replaces them with cats).

The extension is from the same developers that launched Unbaby.me, an extension that turns baby pictures into cat pictures.

The best part of the extension is that it's customizable—you can add in your own keywords that you want picked up and changed to a cat, and you can also opt out of seeing cats entirely. That is, if you'd rather see pugs, Lil Wayne, or pretty rainbows, you can change the preferences in the extension since it pulls images from Instagram (and you can thank Instagram's and Facebook's APIs for that capability!).

Want a mix of cats, pugs, Lil Wayne, and pretty rainbows? You can have that too—just enter in all the feeds you'd rather see than politics, and Unpolitic.me takes care of the rest.

We're only sorry we found out about this just now, and not three months ago.
