What's your resolution this year?
If you started your day today at the gym or going for a run outside, you're in good company, since many people make plans to get fit in the new year. But wouldn't it be interesting to see what other people around the world were resolving to accomplish this year? Google thought so, and created a page where users around the world can post how they intend on changing their lives this year.
As you might imagine, many of the resolutions on the map have to do with health-related goals like losing weight, quitting smoking, or cutting back on drinking, but others are a little more obscure. One person has resolved to get engaged this year, someone in Florida will grow a mustache this year, and another person's goal is to get a puppy.
The map is broken into categories including love, health, career, finance, family, education, "do good," and other. You have the option of browsing the map by category or you can look at all of the categories at once.
The only problem we found with it is that it doesn't seem to work on Firefox—when we tried to add ours, we couldn't submit, nor could we choose what category our resolution fell under—perhaps another browser would work. Luckily, you don't have to be a Google+ user to use the map, and Google took the liberty of translating them all into many languages, so you can read what people in other countries wrote even if you don't speak their language.
