World's Strongest Beer, Axl Sucks, and Windows 8 Disappoints

There are two things the Scottish know well: how to eat really disgusting food and how to get blindingly drunk. As yet, no one has been able to come up with anything more sickening than haggis, but the Brewmeister Brewery has produced the world's strongest beer. The aptly named Armageddon has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 65 percent. Typically American beer, by contrast, usually has between 4 and 10 percent ABV. According to Brewmeisters co-founder, Lewis Shand, the beer "delivers a supersonic-charged explosion and conveys the taster to Drunksville." Would we like to try some? Aye.

ROD & RON TOOK IT LIKE THE FRENCH
Rod Stewart has been in the news a lot this week as he's out doing publicity for his recently released memoir, Rod: The Autobiography. On a recent Access Hollywood interview, the singer says that during his time with the Faces in the early 1970s, he and fellow Face Ron Wood started to tire of the traditional methods of cocaine ingestion, so they devised a new method. "We put them in a little pill like the French do them, a suppository."

And those college kids think they're onto something new when they force alcohol up their bums.

In case you were wondering, Axl Rose is still out there trying to have some semblance of a career. But judging from this video, shot a the recent Farm Aid benefit concert, he should really just stop. Really.

WINDOWS & APPLE GETTING NO LOVE

Both Microsoft and Apple have gotten much criticism this week. Microsoft for its new Windows 8 operating system, and Apple for announcing a new iPad only six months after releasing the previous iPad version.
