The "Shiggy Challenge" has been wreaking havoc on this great nation over the last few weeks. As we caught ourselves up on the social media craze where passengers hop out of a moving car and dance to Drake's "In My Feelings," we confirmed that people really are stupid enough to risk their lives in the name of likes and follows.

Exhibit A:

We'll admit we've done our fair share of less than responsible things for the sake of capturing the perfect car photo or video, but this challenge takes things to a whole new level of loony. Where should we start? #1. You're jumping out of a moving vehicle. #2. You're dancing in traffic. #3. You're more focused on looking good for Instagram than looking for oncoming cars.

There have been so many incidents ranging from scratches to a shattered skull, that the National Transportation Safety Board had to issue a warning:

Hopping out of a moving vehicle or jumping into lanes of traffic to show your dance moves is foolish and dangerous.

Something has gone terribly wrong with our society if we have to be told not to jump out of a moving car into lanes of traffic by a national government agency.

But there is hope, folks.

If we can survive this:

And this:

Then we can make it through #ShiggyChallenge too.

Hey, we like jamming to Drake's music as much as the next guy, but you should probably listen to big brother on this one. Don't jump out of moving vehicles and exercise self-restraint when you get the urge to dance in the middle of the street.
