In an effort to make Nismo cars a bigger part of its business, Nissan has developed a new division called the Nismo Cars Business Department. The goal will be to roll out more high-performance Nismo cars and spread the cars out to markets around the world.

Nismo

It’s likely as time goes on that the world will see Nismo versions of vehicles in a wide variety of segments. Those cars will reach as many markets around the world as is possible. Currently, Nissan makes the 370Z Nismo, Juke Nismo RS, Sentra Nismo, March Nismo S, GT-R Nismo, Patrol Nismo, and the Note e-Power Nismo. Not all these cars are available in the U.S. and other areas of the world. Nissan plans to more widely distribute these current cars.

"As a Nissan sub-brand, NISMO further builds upon the core values of Nissan cars," said Takao Katagiri, president and CEO of both Autech Japan and Nissan Motorsports International. "With the combined expertise of Nissan group companies, NISMO road cars will make customers enjoy Nissan cars more than ever."

The Nismo Car Business Department and Nissan Motorsports International will work together on marketing the vehicles. You can expect to see more Nismo cars at showrooms, dealerships, and events near you in the future, which is a very good thing.
