It looks like Elon Musk is gearing up for a Guy Fieri visit with his plans of a Tesla Supercharger drive-in restaurant. Aside from the often exciting product reveals he heads, Musk tends to get his words out through Twitter. There, he shows his audacious, ambitious, and ironically comical side. He announced the restaurant plans through a tweet saying “Gonna put an old-school drive-in, roller skates & rock restaurant at one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in LA.” People were all over it, of course.
Who knows if it’s he’s being serious, but the idea isn’t too farfetched if you think about it. Los Angeles is kind of a car-crazy place, and nostalgia is more than likely always going to be a gimmick to exploit, it could work. Regardless of his seriousness or the viability of the idea itself, the Twitter-verse had no qualms about sharing their ideas. What do you think of this "blast from the past" future endeavor?
