Topping the charts again this week for smartphone owners who like to know where they're going is Google Maps. It's followed by ElfYourself, an app that lets you put your face onto an elf's body for laughs. In third place is Fun Run, in fourth place is The Walking Dead, and in fifth place is YouTube.

Evernote Food. This free app helps us keep track of dishes we want to try in cookbooks we peruse, helps us remember what dishes we liked at restaurants we dined at ,and lets us find new recipes to try.


Flipboard. This app is also free and lets us organize all of our social media feeds into one compact, convenient spot. If you're looking to kill as much time as possible with social media, you won't need this app, but if you like things a bit more streamlined, check it out.
