Inexpensive base starting price.
Can still be had with a plucky manual gearbox.
Non-luxury cost of ownership.
Our Take
While we miss the 280 horsepower V6 variant, the 2.0-liter turbo alternative still produces plenty of pep in the CC.
Definitely not the roomiest rear seat or trunk in the segment, so space hogs be forewarned.
Aging gracefully still means getting old, and the CC is a prime example of a sedan that needs re-imagining.
The replacement, the upcoming Arteon, should prove to be far better in every way.
