Beats The Competition |
EcoBoost twin-turbo 3.5-liter produces 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. $50,000 Platinum version crushes most luxury brand SUV competitors. Sport model offers solid performance on summer tires. |
Our Take |
Sync 3 is a breeze to use and offers crisp graphics. In tech loaded models automatic safety and parking features greatly diminish the risks associated with wielding such a large vehicle. It may not be Raptor-grade, but the 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost motor in the Explorer is a vengeful V6. |
